Cornish Tea and Coffee Co. was founded in 2012 with a simple mission - make a great Cornish tea. Their Decaf carries the same bold, full-bodied character as the rest of the range with the caffeine removed using the Swiss Water Method - a completely chemical-free process that soaks the leaves in hot water to dissolve the caffeine, filters it out using carbon, then returns the water to the leaves so the flavor stays intact.
Of the decafs we carry, this is the only one using Swiss Water. Barry's, Bewley's, and Birchall use methylene chloride. Clipper uses CO2. If a natural, chemical-free process matters to you, Cornish is the one. Smooth, malty, and satisfying with less than 2mg of caffeine per cup.
