Birchall Great Rift Decaf starts with the same hand plucked East African leaves as the award winning Great Rift Breakfast Blend - sourced from Kenya and Rwanda's Great Rift Valley, grown at high altitude in volcanic soil. The caffeine is then removed using a methylene chloride process performed in Switzerland, leaving less than 0.2% caffeine while keeping the brightness and full body intact.

A Great Taste Award winner in its own right. Most decafs sacrifice character for convenience - this one doesn't. The cup is bright, golden, and refreshing in a way that makes it genuinely hard to tell from the caffeinated version.

How to brew the perfect cup

Use freshly boiled water, not left to cool.
Steep for 3 to 5 minutes depending on preferred strength.
Add milk if you like. It holds up well.
