Returns & Refund Policy

Most of what we ship is food, so the rules are a little different from a typical online shop. Here's exactly what's covered and how to reach us if something's wrong.

Tea is final sale, no returns on opened or unopened bags
30 days to return unused teaware and accessories
Free replacement on anything damaged or incorrect

Tea is a food product. To ensure the safety and freshness of every order, we're unable to accept returns or issue refunds for tea, even if sealed and unopened. All tea purchases are considered final sale.

Returns for Non-Food Items

Non-food items such as teaware and accessories may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in their original packaging, and in new condition.

To initiate a return, email customercare@teadog.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll provide return instructions. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

After we receive and inspect the returned item(s), a refund will be issued minus all shipping costs, including original delivery fees.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive a different item than what was ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Please note: we're not able to issue refunds for items ordered in error or due to customer preference. If the item received matches what was ordered, it is not considered incorrect.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • All tea and food products, whether opened or unopened
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items

Refunds

Refunds are issued only for:

  • Damaged or defective items
  • Incorrect items as defined above
  • Tea with a Best By date earlier than what is listed on the product page
  • Approved returns of non-food items

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Please allow up to 15 business days for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
