Taylors Ceylon Tea

Taylors of Harrogate has been blending tea in Yorkshire since 1886 and remains an independent family company to this day. Their Ceylon is 100% pure Ceylon black tea from Sri Lanka - one of the world's most celebrated tea producing regions, known for producing bright, clean, refreshing cups that are fundamentally different in character from the heavier Assam blends. Light, bright, and naturally sweet with a clean, refreshing finish and a beautiful golden amber colour. Less full-bodied than Assam but more lively and aromatic - the kind of cup that works throughout the day and never feels heavy. Works well black, with a slice of lemon, or with milk for a softer, more rounded cup.

Taylors Assam is the bolder, more full-bodied option from the same brand - same quality and credentials, very different character. Bewley's Irish Afternoon shares the same light, bright, all-day character. Birchall Great Rift is the closest comparison in terms of brightness and refreshing quality.
