Scotch and Abram's Decaf English Breakfast uses CO2 decaffeination - the cleanest method available, using pressurised carbon dioxide rather than chemical solvents to gently lift the caffeine from the leaves while leaving the natural flavours and oils intact. Flowery Pekoe grade leaves, medium bodied, rich, and comforting in the cup.
The CO2 method is what sets both our decafs apart from most of the competition. Barry's, Bewley's, and Birchall all use methylene chloride. Clipper uses CO2 too - it's the method that preserves the most flavour and leaves no chemical residue. If you care how your decaf is made, this is the answer. A satisfying everyday cup with none of the compromise.
