Ridgways has been blending tea since 1836, when Thomas Ridgway opened his first shop on King William Street in London. By 1886 the brand's reputation had grown to the point where they were asked to produce a tea for Queen Victoria's personal use, and were later appointed tea merchants to King George VI. Their Camomile is 100% pure camomile flowers - nothing added, nothing blended in.
The name camomile comes from the Greek for ground apple, which is exactly what the flowers deliver - a heady, sweet aroma and a floral, honeyed flavour with hints of baked apple and a warm, hay-like quality. Long valued for its calming properties, this is the cup most people reach for at the end of the day. Naturally caffeine free. Individually wrapped teabags.
