Lifeboat Tea

Lifeboat Tea was created over thirty years ago as a mark of gratitude by a sailor saved by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. A portion of every box sold goes directly to the RNLI - the charity that saves lives at sea. It is produced by Williamson Tea, a family company with over 140 years of tea expertise and the only tea company in the world with all of their farms Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance certified.

Pure single estate Kenyan black tea from the Kapchorua Tea Farm, where volcanic soils and high altitude growing conditions give the leaves a strong, distinctive character. Only the bud and the two top leaves are picked, which is why the cup is as bright and brisk as it is full bodied. Strong, robust, and deeply satisfying - a genuinely good cup of tea that does genuine good at the same time.
