The packaging is made from triple-layered mixed oil-based plastics, metalized polyester, polypropylene, and polyethylene. As of now, their focus is on changing the materials used on their tea bags and the outer wrap. Once they've successfully switched to suitable material, they will surely switch the packaging of their Loose Tea to recyclable material. They are looking to start serious work about this next year and have it ready in 2022.

Taylor began his career buying teas that stores could sell as their house brand. Taylor's specialty was creating new blends of tea tailored to each area's unique local water. Charles and his brother Llewellyn Taylor started CE Taylor in Leeds, England as tea and coffee merchants. Taylors has been awarded The Queen's Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development, given only to companies with strong ethical, social and environmental values.
