Tick Tock is a fourth generation family business with roots going back to 1903, when the family first perfected the craft of curing rooibos using traditional tea making techniques. They were the first to bring rooibos to the UK market and remain Britain's favourite rooibos brand. Their Original Rooibos is sourced from the Cederberg Mountains of the Western Cape, South Africa - the only place in the world where rooibos grows, where the unique combination of mountain soil, altitude, and climate produces the plant's distinctive character.
Smooth, gently sweet, and naturally warm with a slightly nutty character and a full-bodied richness when brewed well. Low in tannins so it never goes bitter no matter how long you steep it. Naturally caffeine free without any chemical processing - unlike decaf teas, rooibos simply contains no caffeine at all. Works beautifully with milk, black, or iced with a slice of lemon.
