PG Tips has been one of Britain's most iconic tea brands since 1930, when Arthur Brooke first blended what he called Pre-Gestive Tea in Manchester. Gold is the premium step up from the Original - a luxurious blend of Rwandan, Kenyan, and Assam teas, blended by master blenders at their Trafford Park factory using only the top two leaves and a bud from each plant. Every estate is Rainforest Alliance Certified.

Rich, full-bodied, and smooth with a golden character that is noticeably more refined than the Original. The Rwanda and Kenya teas bring brightness and warmth, the Assam adds malt and depth. Still unmistakably PG Tips - just at its most polished. Works beautifully with milk or without.

How to brew the perfect cup

Use freshly boiled water, not left to cool.
Steep for 3 to 5 minutes depending on preferred strength.
Add milk if you like. It holds up beautifully.
No sugar needed but it pairs well if you take it.
