Edinburgh Tea and Coffee Company has been blending in Scotland since 1812, and their Thistle Tea is a celebration of Scotland's national flower. Thistle blossom at 4.5% is blended with Dimbula Ceylon from Sri Lanka - delicate and slightly tart - finished with East African tea for depth and roundness. A cup that is distinctively Scottish without being gimmicky.
Rich and well-balanced with subtle earthy and fruity notes from the thistle blossom. The character is lightly herbal and distinctive - not aggressively floral like some botanicals, but enough to set it apart from a standard black tea. Works well black, with milk, or with a slice of lemon.
Teabags are individually wrapped.
