Williamson Tea is a special name among tea connoisseurs. As one of the world’s few private tea producing companies, Williamson Tea occupies an unique position in growing, producing, marketing, and selling fine teas.

Williamson Tea has been growing and selling quality tea since 1869 when Captain J H Williamson, who was involved in the management of tea estates in Assam, met R B Magor, an assistant with the Great Eastern Hotel in Calcutta.

A family-owned company, the Williamson Tea group remains one of the worlds largest tea producers. Williamson Tea operates 4 Kenyan tea estates in Changoi, Kapchorua, Kaimosi and Tinderet. Williamson Tea farms are set in the spectacular Kenyan Highlands and produce some of the worlds finest teas. The Kenyan Highlands have rolling hills carpeted in neat, bright green tea bushes. The Kenyan climate is perfect for producing tea with rain falling almost every afternoon. Williamson Tea farms are based in Nandi and Kericho districts of Kenya.

    Best English Breakfast Tea

I've tried many different kinds of English Breakfast tea, and Williamson's is by far the best. Glad I'm able to get it from Teadog.

I received this tea as a gift from family in England. I liked it so much I searched for it on-line, fearing it would onll be available in the UK. I was very happy to find your site and my favorite tea! Thanks so much for being there!

    This tea has no peers

This is the standard by which all teas should be measured and, sadly, no other teas come close to the rich bold flavor of Williamson English Breakfast Tea. I wouldn't drink anything else.

    Not your Grocery Store Tea!

Posted by Debbie on Jan 2nd 2016

Great English Breakfast. IF you like the grocery brands, you will LOVE this tea. Rich, full-bodied, but not bitter (unless you steep it too long...but even then, just add some hot water, and it's fine). GREAT teas and you can get more than one cup from a bag, so that's good, too.

    Tea Quality

Posted by Peter F on Dec 11th 2015

A very hard tea to find, but as an Englishman (+ American), I have found it to be a fine English Breakfast Tea. I have been using it for 15 years I guess. Easy to order from teadog.com. These are tea bags and I put 3 bags to a regular pot. Smooth tasting. Highly recommendedPet

    Excellent EBT

Posted by Bart Walton on Jul 18th 2014

I bought this on a whim, lured by the sale price. And, I can confirm it's an excellent buy at $7.99. Rich malty taste, excellent strength and "mouth feel". Perfect with a bit of whole milk. I can recommend it without hesitation. 2.5 gm bag; brews nicely with 8oz water for 3 to 4 minutes.
