Williamson Tea
England

Williamson Tea is a special name among tea connoisseurs. As one of the world's few private tea producing companies, Williamson Tea occupies an unique position in growing, producing, marketing, and selling fine teas.

Williamson Tea has been growing and selling quality tea since 1869 when Captain J H Williamson, who was involved in the management of tea estates in Assam, met R B Magor, an assistant with the Great Eastern Hotel in Calcutta.

A family-owned company, the Williamson Tea group remains one of the worlds largest tea producers. Williamson Tea operates 4 Kenyan tea estates in Changoi, Kapchorua, Kaimosi and Tinderet. Williamson Tea farms are set in the spectacular Kenyan Highlands and produce some of the worlds finest teas. The Kenyan Highlands have rolling hills carpeted in neat, bright green tea bushes. The Kenyan climate is perfect for producing tea with rain falling almost every afternoon. Williamson Tea farms are based in Nandi and Kericho districts of Kenya.

Duchess Grey Tea

I love everything about this tea. It is not Earl Grey which, sadly, I don’t like despite the wonderful aroma. I like Lady Grey tea but it’s not as strong as I like my teas but nice for late afternoon. This tea, however, has it all! It has a fantastic scent which I relish each time I open my tea canister, it is a nice strong tea, and it has a flavour that makes me drink it by the potful, not by the cupful. (I do use a large mug to drink it but just one isn’t enough). I enjoy this tea any time of day until five pm which is when all caffeinated drinks stop for me.

Fast shipping, fair pricing

So happy to have my Dutchess Grey tea again. I was down to my last gifted sachets. Thank goodness I found Teadog. I’m trying to get away from Amazon & support smaller businesses. Fair price, fast shipping!

Afternoon Refresher

This now the tea I enjoy with a bit of shortbread cookies when I find myself slowing down midday at work. They compliment each other and make my mouth very happy. Coffee is always brewing in the detective bureau, but I’m changing some opinions one cop, one cuppa, at a time.

Still the Best!

This is the best of the all the Greys in my opinion, regardless of manufacturer, a more flavorful version of the their Earl Grey. Williamson has the mixture just right on this one.
