I love my Welsh tea and the cute tin it came in.
I had read someone else's review before I bought it and the person had said that sometimes he forgets and leaves the tea bag in for a long time, but the tea is never bitter. It's true, because I do the same thing and I never have that bitter taste.
If you want a nice, strong but mellow-tasting tea, this is worth a try.
Bold yet smooth, great tea taste and a real pick me up.
My former supervisor got me hooked in this stuff a couple years ago. This is by far my favorite black tea. I have tried several and they are usually very bitter after the bag has been steeping to long, Iﾒm bad about remembering to remove it. No matter how long I leave it in the tea is wonderful. If you like strong black tea that does get bitter, try this tea, I donﾒt think youﾒll be disappointed. .
I gave this to my sister for Christmas because we have some Welsh in our family tree! She is enjoying the tea so much that she plans on ordering some more for herself when the tin is empty! She loves the bright flavor!
It's hard to find Welsh Brew and harder to find it in a caddy. Teadog carries both, and I hope they will continue to stock the caddy after the holiday season. The caddy keeps the tea from absorbing moisture after the foil packages inside have been opened, but it is also a charming reproduction of Murrough's inimitable package. Great for tea fanciers!
I ordered the Welsh Brew tea in a tin for my sister and her family. I've been drinking it for years but this was their first experience. Apparently everyone really enjoyed it.
This one and the Irish Nambarrie.
Two teabags per cup, steep 4 min, add lots of whole milk. Sit down and sip as you slowly wake up. Perfect start to the day.
Along with Glengettie, this tea is one of my favorite Welsh teas. Love the flavor (prefer loose leaf, but difficult to find) and particularly love the tins! I collect them, and they've been very hard to find for years.
