An excellent strong cup of tea that is never bitter.
Nice flavor, medium strength.
Strong, full-bodied tea, with a superb taste. I had tried this tea some years ago and remembered liking it, so am glad I ordered it.
It's all gone already! Very good.
Like this tea. It has a mild flavor that reminds me of PG tips. Each bag easily makes 2 mugs and I don't mean weak tea :)
I love this welsh brew. It is a strong tea, enjoyed most with milk and sugar(optional). But, it does not have any bitter flavor at all. It is very smooth and delicious
This is by far the best breakfast tea I've ever had. A few yrs ago a friend gave me a box and its been my favorite tea ever since. It's strong but not bitter. I order 6 boxes at a time so I never run out. I even pack it in my suitcase when I travel.
I came across my first box of Murrough's Welsh Brew in the back of a World's Market in San Antonio. Its "best by" date was about to expire, but one branch of my family has Welsh roots and I was curious, so I bought it, and brewed a pot the next day. What a treat! Deep russet brown, it was very smooth and robust - one of the best teas I have ever tasted. I was hooked. I found more Murrough's regular and decaf tea at teadog, and ordered both kinds for myself and for my father, who long ago taught me to appreciate tea. The boxes arrived promptly, and my dad was as delighted as I was. He now drinks Murrough's with breakfast and at
suppertime, and has the occasional decaf cup in the evenings. I am having to cut back on caffeine, so I drink my Brew half and half. A last note: although I had ordered two boxes of 40 regular Murrough's, for the same price teadog sent me two boxes of 80! My dad received the same. We are both well supplied with what has become our favorite tea.
I thought that Welsh miners would like a strong cup of tea! I am partial to Scottish Breakfast, so I thought that this would be a hearty tea. It isn't. It is still very tasty and has a lovely red color.
Love the taste .... best ever! Thanks for the delivering early, received it right before Christmas. What a great surprise.
In my search for strong black teas that can hold up well to an addition of milk, I tested PG Tips, Lyons Original and Welsh Brew. Adding sugar and milk in my usual way, Welsh Brew came out on top with excellent flavor and aftertaste, even through the milk.
Welsh brew is the best, I feel the comfort of "home" wherever and whenever I have a cup. I know it's just tea, but it's nonetheless true.
