Taylors Yorkshire Decaffeinated Tea in a box of 80 Tea Bags

How are the Yorkshire Tea Boxes Made?
The boxes of Yorkshire teas are made from wood that are FSC® Certified sources. The Forest Stewardship Council also known as FSC®, promotes responsible forest management, harvesting wood which make sure the forest's biodiversity, productivity, and ecological processes are preserved. It is also a not-for-profit organization that has an FSC Chain of Custody Certification, which confirms that their box production process only involves wood from their certified forests and controlled sources. Basically, the boxes of Yorkshire tea go in the paper and cardboard recycling.

How are the Yorkshire Tea Bags made?
A 75% natural-based fibers material is used for their teabags: either abaca (kind of banana plant) or rayon (from wood pulp). The rest of the materials used for their tea bags is an oil-based plastic sealing material called polypropylene. However, they are planning on switching to a plant-based called Polylactic Acid (PLA), which is made from Cornstarch.

As for the outer wrap of their teabags, it is from an oil-based plastic as well, which is Polypropylene. There are also planning to replace this after their teabags. They are hoping for it to be removed and replaced in 2021. Therefore, these should go to the normal bins as it is not recyclable.

Light Flavor

This decaf is great to drink in the afternoons when I want to cut down on caffeine intake. It has a subtle flavor.

Taylors of Harrogate Decaf Tea

Absolutely the best decaf tea I've ever had! Love the smooth bold flavor of this tea. Finally, I can enjoy a cup in the afternoon or evening and still sleep well. Yeah!

Flavorful

So many decaf teas are so weak you might as well just drink the boiled water. Not so Yorkshire decaf, it has lots of flavor. As someone who is watching their caffeine intake it is nice to still be able to have a nice cup of tea minus the caffeine and full of flavor. Thank you.

Doesn’t get bitter

Even when I forget the bag in the cup, this tea doesn’t get bitter. This has become my evening after dinner tea. Thank you for Yorkshire decaf.
