When you taste Ringtons Breakfast Blend, you immediately notice that it is a classic black tea made in the English tradition. To make this tea, Ringtons blends tea leaves from Assam (India) and Kenya (Africa). Taken from the best Assam and Kenyan teas which are only available for a few months of the year. This combination produces a rich and hearty tea. These teas can be bitter over time and that is why a specially sealed teas are necessary to ensure the best and fresh flavors.
When you taste a cup of Ringtons Tea, you will immediately notice how fresh the tea tastes. This is due to Rington's trademarked Leaf Lock process. Leaf Lock is a completely unique process that is not done by any other tea company. Leaf Lock seals in the tea flavor when the leaves are picked.

How to Make the Perfect Cup of Ringtons Breakfast Blend:
Ringtons offers the following advice to make the perfect cup of Breakfast Blend Tea.
First, bring the water to a rolling boil. As a black tea, Breakfast Blend needs the water to be boiling. Always make sure to use fresh water every time you boil it. If you re-use previously-boiled water, all the oxygen in the water will be removed and the tea will taste flat.
To make a single cup of tea, use one tea bag. If you are using tea bags to make a pot of tea, use one tea bag per cup of water. Ringtons recommends allowing the tea bag to steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Add a sweetener if you prefer. This tea can be taken plain or with milk or lemon, whichever you prefer.
An Ethically Produced Cup of Tea
All Ringtons Teas are produced in an ethical and sustainable manner. For many years, Ringtons has developed strong relationships with tea growers, mostly in Africa and India. Ringtons are an active part of the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) and only buys tea from growers that participate in this program. The ETP checks on the working and environmental conditions affecting workers. Ringtons also is committed to reducing the gender pay gap. Recently, Ringtons has launched the Tea Growing Community Charitable Trust, a new program that pays for projects in the estates where tea is grown.
