If you like a strong English cuppa... the best

Posted by Shira on May 31st 2018

I've access to a Murchies Tea shop but there's simply nothing as good as a good strong cuppa of Marks' tea! So glad I finally find somewhere to get it from! Thank you!

This is the benchmark in black tea. Flavorful, satisfying and simply the best.

    Taste of boiled potatoes

I'm surprised to read that so many people like this tea. I find it poor - first no scent then the taste of boiled potatoes. Worst tea in years.

    Bold Flavor

Posted by Julie on May 3rd 2017

I was first given this tea as a gift from a friend in the UK when she came to visit. It was delicious and I loved the bold flavor. I was so excited to find the same tea available on-line. Great breakfast tea. I will be ordering more soon.

    M&S extra strong loose tea

I lived in London for a while and really enjoyed this tea. Until recently I could only find it by purchasing directly from the source at a much higher price. So very glad to find teadog.

    A Favorite

Posted by Paul on Mar 29th 2016

A friend of mine from the UK gave me a sample of M & S Extra Strong a few years ago and since then it has been one of my very favorites. Strong, full bodied, it makes a great cup. And sometimes I play around making special blends using different teas to create one that covers the total spectrum of my taste. I have found no substitute for the rich, strong taste of M & S Extra Strong. Try it.

Great tea. Hunted all over for it. Teadog came through for me. Thanks.

    Really strong

Posted by Michael mikhrezn@cox.net on Mar 3rd 2015

Marks & Spencer Extra Strong tea is really strong and bold one while the taste is kind of plane. But mixed with the Earl Gray (I use the Earl Greyer from Tea Republic, which has a lot of bergamot oil), it produced the nice cup of tea (I don't use a milk but a lot of sugar, Middle East style). It also good with lemon.

    Strong!

I was so happy to find this tea at a reasonable price in the U.S. I had brought some back from England for a friend years ago and she liked it so much I got 2 bags for her and one for myself. We live 45 minutes apart, but our water must be quite different, because I can't get the tea to taste like it does when I drink it at her house. I also don't drink tea more than a few times a week, and this tea has kept me awake at night, even after drinking it before noon. Overall, a really nice tea (and fair trade, too)--but I think I will try something a little milder for myself next time!
