Do I have to pay sales tax?
Tea is considered a food item so you do not have to pay sales tax.
What payment methods does teadog.com accept?

Can I mail a check?
Can I place a backorder?
Since we deal with many unique and hard-to-get teas, we do not take backorders. You can be notified when an out-of-stock tea becomes available by clicking on the product and then entering your email under "Enter your email address to be notified when this item is back in stock." In this occasion, we will not keep your email address and will only use it once to notify you.

How do I return a tea?
How much is shipping?
Orders over $75 ship free. You can get exact shipping prices before submitting payment. Add the tea to your cart and then at checkout, you will have several shipping choices, including Sure Post, USPS and UPS Ground.
When will my order ship?
Orders placed before 2 PM Eastern usually ship same day. All orders ship by the end of business the day after order is placed.
Does teadog.com ship outside of the USA?
Yes, we ship orders to most countries outside of the USA. But, there are a few countries to which we do not ship. To find out if we ship to your country, go to Checkout and click Shipping and then Country. If your country is not on that list, we are not able to ship to it.
When will my credit card be charged?
We only sell in-stock items. You are not able to order out-of-stock items. Over 98% of orders ship within 24 hours. As such, your credit card is charged at the time the order is placed. If for any reason, any of the items are unavailable, we will notify you immediately and offer to ship the items later with free shipping or refund your order.
What should I do if my order is incorrect?
Do I need to create an account or use a password to order?
You can order as a guest without using a password. You do not need to create an account to place order. Even if you have previously established an account and created a password, you can place an order without using your password in case you have forgotten it.
How do I redeem a gift certificate?
To redeem a gift certificate, you will need the unique gift certificate code, which is part of the gift certificate email sent to you as an attachment. It will look something like Z50-Y6K-COS-402. Shop and add tea to your cart as normal. Then, click "View Cart" to go to your shopping cart. Type your gift certificate code in to the "Redeem Gift Certificate" box and click '"Go."
What can I do if I lost my password?
You can reset your password by going to the Forgot Password page on our site. The email address has to be the exact same one used to create an account. If you go not get the email in a few minutes, check your Spam folder. Even if you have an account, you can always order without a password.
What can I do if I need to change my order?
We ship over 90% of orders the same day. So, if you need to cancel or change your order, please contact us as soon as you can after you placed an order. It is best to email us from the address on our Contact Us page.
