To Make Perfect Cup of Heath & Heather
Always fill your kettle with fresh, cold water every time you make tea. If you use previously boiled water, all the oxygen in the water will be gone by the time it boils a second time. The oxygen in the water is necessary to bring out the full flavor in a cup of tea.
First, bring the water to a rolling boil. Then, pour water in a mug over the tea bag. Heath & Heather recommends using 1 tea bag per cup. Allow tea to steep for 5 minutes and remove the tea bag. Sweeten to taste. Since this is an herbal tea, it is best not to pour milk over the tea.
Ginger (40%), Apple Pomace, Blackberry Leaves, Citric Acid, Lemon Flavor (5%), Lemongrass (1%), Lemon Peel, Linden Flowers and Roasted Chicory Root.
Apple pomace is the pulpy material that remains when you squeeze and press the juice out of an apple. It normally comprises skin, pulp, seed and stem remnants. There are several uses for apple pomace.
A carbohydrate made from corn starch, maltodextrin is a commonly used food additive. It is used in tea to help move the tea in water.
Citric acid is naturally occurring. It is a natural preservative. Typically, citric acid is taken from the juice of fruit. It is often used to give a sour flavor to foods. It also helps the stability of teas.

I hesitate to say how much I enjoy this tea, as I don't want it to be sold out when I'm ready to buy again.
Not many herbal type teas that I care for, but this one really suits me. I could probably replace all my black tea with this and not feel deprived.
