Barrys Decaffeinated Tea in a Box of 80 Tea Bags
Barrys Decaffeinated is a refreshing blend of fine tea without the caffeine content of traditional teas.

Did you know that even decaffeinated teas have a very small amount of caffeine? It's true.

Do you know how much caffeine is in a cup of regular tea? Most people are confused. Caffeine occurs naturally in coffee, tea and cocoa beans. It is added to cola to enhance flavor. Since black and green tea come from camellia sinensis, the tea plant, both contain caffeine.

On average, a cup of tea contains 1/3 the caffeine as a cup of coffee. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), an 8 ounce cup of coffee brewed with tap water has 137.7 milligrams of caffeine; an 8 ounce cup of tea brewed with tap water has 37.5 milligrams of caffeine; a 16 ounce cola has 49 milligrams of caffeine. Caffeine levels in tea bags and loose tea are similar. The amount of time you steep the tea is the biggest factor in determining the level of caffeine.

Ingredients:
Black tea, decaffeinated.

    Best Decaf Ever

Barry's Decaf is the best decaf sold. The full bodied flavor
Of regular tea no caffeine. No 'Fortnight' tea here, as my Grandpa used to say.

When my local grocery store stopped carrying this tea I HAD to find it! It is delicious and to my mind the best decaffeinated black tea there is. You can not tell that it is decaffeinated by its taste, only that it doesnt give you the jitters!

I now only drink decaf tea, so it has been quite a quest to find really good decaf because it is hard to find. Barry s hands down is the best decaf tea you will find. You would never know it was decaf and most people I serve it to don't know its decaf. Excellent tea. highly recommended.

    The best tea

I started drinking Barry's tea in Ireland 25 years ago. Now I have to drink a decaf tea and thankfully Barry's has it. It's the only tea I drink and serve to my friends.

    Very flavorful

It's a nicely flavored tea for a decaf. . .nice strong taste that I like in an Irish tea. It is stronger, in my opinion, and also has better flavor than the Barry's Irish Breakfast tea, although I do like that as well. I prefer this over the Classic from Barry's, which I did not care for, had an almost bitter taste.

I have been buying this (decaf) brand for years and it's worth the price and to w

    found my favorite

I have to give up caffeine for a year for health reasons. I despaired of finding a replacement for my favorite Barry's Irish tea. No one carried the decaf version. Now I am a happy camper. Get flavor without caffeine.

    Best decaf tea ever

Barry's decaf tea had been out of stock for quite a while at my local market and I was delighted to find it on teadog.com. I can only drink decaf teas and Barry's has the full body flavor of a regular black tea. It packs a punch and is very satisfying if you enjoy a strong black tea. I drink it with milk.
