Love it! Full & rich!
Barryﾒs Classic Tea is an absolutely delicious rich tea. I brew it using only spring water, ice made from filtered water, then sweeten it with sugar in the raw, and drunk it out of fine Waterford crystal brandy sniffers. The non chlorinated water gives the tea a rich dark orange color and allows one to taste this truly fine tea. There is no doubt the Irish surely know how to blend a fine tasting tea. I would recommend this tea to anyone who truly enjoys a rich tasting glass of iced tea. I do realize that in the UK they do not put ice in their tea. However this tea is also very good when one drinks it hot from a tea cup. I know because I have tried it hot.
At or near the top of the heap among the blended blacks sold at Teadog. Stacks up well to Thompson's Irish and Thompson's Signature, and Bewley's Special -- and that's saying something. Superior to the Namosas, Brodies and Williamsons, and I'd rate it above the very good Taylor's varieties, too (Taylor's English is comparable). Fragrance while brewing is excellent. Dark color. Strong cup. Leaving the bag in the cup doesn't ruin aything here. First rate tea.
This tea is just plain good...it's an uncomplicated cup of tea and great tasting any time of day.
I believe most tea drinkers understand that a tea will taste differently at different temperatures. Unlike coffee, tea is good at any temp. Hot, this is a nice cuppa. But over ice, this is the BEST tea ever.
I am not a coffe drinker and therefore tea is my spirit. Barry's offers a strong brew that stands up to a dollop of milk and engenders me with a rich comfort whenever taken.
Pretty much tasteless.
The only thing to say about Barry's Classic tea bags is
* Wonderful convenience
* Rich natural flavour
* Satisfaction of a high quality cup of tea
** Why drink any other?!
One of the pleasure of life!
I like a hot cup of tea in the evening after a long day, it just completes the day. This is one of the best teas I have ever had.
Tea is super good. I drink it afternoon and night. I can not think of anything wrong with it.
This is my go to tea in the morning. I always drink a couple of these first thing. It's a good strong tea, personally my favorite of the Barry's line, Although I bought a few others that I haven't tried yet. This Tea is perfect with milk and sugar Irish style.
