Citrus Tea from Ridgway Tea Company
Ridgways Citrus Tea starts with an apple base and then is an ideal mix of orange, lemon peel and dried lemon grass. Caffeine-free, this tea tastes and smells like citrus.

Ridgway Tea is part of the Typhoo Tea Company. All Ridgways Teas are made in England, under care of the company's master tea blender. You can be assured of the highest quality.

Each Ridgways Citrus Tea comes in individually wrapped tea bags with a string and tag. So, you can take a few tea bags with you wherever you go.

Recommedation:
Ridgways Citrus Tea can be consumed hot or cold. It is best taken with sweetener and without milk.

To Make Perfect Cup of Ridgways
Always fill your kettle with fresh, cold water every time you make tea. If you use previously boiled water, all the oxygen in the water will be gone by the time it boils a second time. The oxygen in the water is necessary to bring out the full flavor in a cup of tea.

First, bring the water to a rolling boil. Then, pour water in a mug over the tea bag. Ridgways recommends using 1 tea bag per cup. Allow tea to steep for 5 minutes and remove the tea bag. Sweeten to taste. Since this is an herbal tea, it is best not to add milk.
Ingredients
Apple pomace (65%), lemongrass (5%), orange peel (5%), chicory root roasted (5%), hibiscus (4%), lemon peel (2%), lemon and lime flavor (4%), maltodextrin (2%) and citric acid (8%).

Apple pomace is the pulpy material that remains when you squeeze and press the juice out of an apple. It normally comprises skin, pulp, seed and stem remnants. There are several uses for apple pomace.

A carbohydrate made from corn starch, maltodextrin is a commonly used food additive. It is used in tea to help move the tea in water.

Citric acid is naturally occuring. It is a naturaly preservative. Typically, citric acid is taken from the juice of fruit. It is often used to give a sour flavor to foods. It also helps the stability of herbal teas.
