Description Brand History
Pure, gentle and mild ceylon green tea.

Single Origin 100% Pure Ceylon
Dilmah is entirely grown, handpicked and packaged in Ceylon (Sri Lanka), producer of the world's finest tea. Single origin explains why Dilmah s fresher, richer and full of flavor. Discerning tea drinkers will recognize the distinct difference in the very first sip.

Packaged at the Source, Garden Fresh and All Natural
Packaged in Sri Lanka within days of picking fresh leaf in the tea fields, maximizes freshness, the key to antioxidants in tea.

Traditionally Manufactured
Ordinary teas have abandoned the centuries old "orthodox" method or manufacturing for the fast track CTC (cut twist curl) method to meet demand for a quicker brew from tea bags. This sacrifices the character and real taste of tea. Dilmah stands firmly by traditional tea making methods, which explains why Dilmah tea tastes different.

Dilmah Green Individually wrapped tea bags April 2, 2013

Dilmah is an excellent tea, one of the best I have ever drank. Their green tea is delicate, yet very flavorful, so very good.

OK, but a bit fishy. Needs work. January 16, 2013
Reviewer: Marcus O Gebhard from Dallas, TX United States
While I could go on and on about the virtues of all of Dilmah's black tea lines, I'm not ready yet to give their green tea offering as high of marks.  I'll need to give it a taste a few more times, but my first cup seemed to have a slight fishy taste--not quite what I was looking for in a green tea.  However, maybe this would be good drunken with sushi.  The jury is still out, but I'm not ready to give this one more than an average rating.

The best green tea March 11, 2011
Reviewer: Cabanas C from Houston
I turn it into ice tea and drink in the morning.  I live in Houston where it is very warm most of the year.  The tea gives a gentle lift without a jolt, and never makes me shaky or anything.
