Description Brand History

An aromatic floral note yields the citrus flavor of original Earl Grey. A strong Ceylon Tea is the base of this elegant and refined experience. The slightly earthy character of this tea is beautifully balanced by the sweet, floral bergamot flavor.

An enticing experience from the Orient, Earl Grey tea is traced back to the Court of the Chinese Emperors from where the British Envoy the 2nd Earl Grey learned its preparation. Strong with a hint of bergamot flavoring.

Single Origin 100% Pure Ceylon
Dilmah is entirely grown, handpicked and packaged in Ceylon (Sri Lanka), producer of the world's finest tea. Single origin explains why Dilmah s fresher, richer and full of flavor. Discerning tea drinkers will recognize the distinct difference in the very first sip.

Packaged at the Source, Garden Fresh and All Natural
Packaged in Sri Lanka within days of picking fresh leaf in the tea fields, maximizes freshness, the key to antioxidants in tea.

Traditionally Manufactured
Ordinary teas have abandoned the centuries old "orthodox" method or manufacturing for the fast track CTC (cut twist curl) method to meet demand for a quicker brew from tea bags. This sacrifices the character and real taste of tea. Dilmah stands firmly by traditional tea making methods, which explains why Dilmah tea tastes different.

My favorite Dilmah tea! February 7, 2015
Reviewer: Valeriy Tourchin from Jersey City, NJ United States
This is by far my favorite Dilmah tea. I like strong teas, tangy and with hint of bitterness. Most of Dilmah teas are too soft for my taste. Although this tea is also soft, adding bergamot oils to it makes it taste just right.
And didn't Dilmah managed to get just right amount of bergamot! Not overbearing as in Stash's Double Bergamot (where it somewhat kills taste of tea itself), but also enough to make bergamot presence to be well manifested.
Sometime I'm adding spoon of this tea to a pot when I brew Williamson Earl Grey for extra bergamot taste.
Additional plus - it sells in great airtight caddy. Though I wish they were selling it in bulk too. I already have 6 caddies from old orders, today ordering 7th. LOL
