I ordered this tea because I got an email about it from Teadog, and I was intrigued. The pacjkaging was bilingual (Welsh and English) and I have been learning Welsh, so I thought it would be fun to get a box. And while I was at it, I got one for my Wales-born mother, and one for an off-the-beaten-track Christmas present a friend who loves tea.
It was an immediate hit with each of us. Welsh Brew is hearty, with a wonderful balance of richly developed flavours. If you like a good, bracing cup of tea with all the good tea notes struck just right, and no off-notes, this is the tea to try!
I am ordering three more boxes, and this time, they are all for us!
PS: I have no idea of the relative softness or hardness of the water in Philadelphia versus that of Wales, or versus anywhere else, but don't let that question worry you. I am sure that this tea would be good regardless of the flintiness of your water.
